The 69th graduation ceremony at the University of Nairobi marked an illustrious occasion filled with academic accomplishments and a touching farewell to the esteemed Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi. Held on the 22nd of September, the event saw a total of 3,982 graduands receiving degrees and diplomas, with a significant spotlight on the Faculty of Science and Technology, which boasted a remarkable achievement.

On September 20th, 2023, the University of Nairobi hosted a landmark event, the Kenya National Open Science Dialogue, at the Chandaria Auditorium.
