New Website Look! Web-champions Trained on Content Upload

The College website has a new look! Incorporating diverse interactive features that come with ease of application of degree programmes, access of ongoing research projects and showcasing of student academic and social activities, the cutting-edge website is a remarkable improvement from the former one.

The current website encompasses visual appealing structure that is collaborative, showcasing science programmes depicted in a video, accessible on all digital platforms hence inclusion of mobile-responsiveness on all gadgets: a feature that was previously not integrated.

Main features that have been integrated in the website include areas of research, easy access of programme application, inclusion of alumni, partners and collaborators, and most importantly featured students - showcasing students who have demonstrated excellence in different fields.

The revamped website was officially approved by the management in October 2019. University of Nairobi, ICT Center has solely redesigned 166 websites for departments and Colleges. The six Colleges in the Universities depict creativity and uniqueness as captured in the websites : Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Education, Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Biological and Physical Sciences.

The websites’ new look has not gone unnoticed and students as well as staff have been sending in positive feedback on the visual appeal and interactiveness of the website.

In CBPS, a team who work with students and heads of units, webchampions, were trained on content uploading on 6th November 2019 at the Masters Computer Lab, School of Computing and Informatics.
