ORIENTATION PROGRAMME OF FIRST YEAR STUDENTS, 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Department of Chemistry has commenced the Sixth Regional Hands-on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Training Workshop, bringing together scientists from across Africa for advanced training in one of the world's most powerful analytical techniques used in scientific research.

The five-day workshop, running from 20 to 24 July 2026, is hosted by the Department of Chemistry under the Faculty of Science and Technology through the Kenya National Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Centre (KNMRC
