Dr. Joyce Kithure,  Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry has launched the SaVE (Science Adding Value to the Environment and the Community) Communities Project. This initiative aims to harness STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and research to address environmental and community challenges in Kenya.

The Faculty of Science and Technology in collaboration with the University of Linköping  organized a comprehensive two-day event on March 6th and 7th focused on the theme "AI in Education and Science: Applications and Challenges."
