Awarding Academic Excellence for Academic years 2019/2020/ 2020/2021

A total of 275 students were awarded various prizes from donors during the 3rd Prize Presentation Ceremony held on Friday, May 6, 2022

a total of 474 awards that ranged from gold medals, cash prizes and trophies from over 100 donors and partners were awarded to the students from 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic years.

OPEN DAY 2022

The University of Nairobi will hold its annual Open Day on Thursday and Friday, May 5-6, 2022. The Open day theme is, 'Innovation for Transformation and Impact to Society' 

Open day is an opportunity for prospective students and guardians to interact with the University staff, learn more about the programmes offered from each faculty and their career paths. 

There are webinars organized for the two days by all the faculties.

Two FST Researchers Recognized for their Inventions during the Staff Contracting and Recognition Awards

March 23rd 2022 was a big day for all staff both teaching and non-teaching members as they celebrated the 17th cycle of the staff contracting and recognition awards

The annual event seeks to recognize and award exemplary staff and longevity of service to the University. The performance management system is a system set in place to help in getting better results from an organization, teams and individuals.

Public Lecture by Prof. Jacob O. Midiwo

Prof. Jacob O. Midiwo will be giving a public lecture on his journey as a researcher in Natural Products Chemistry. Prof Midowo's topic will be on “Secondary metabolites from African medicinal plants: chemotaxonomic markers and potential prototypes of medicines for neglected tropical diseases

The lecture will take place on Friday, 18th February 2022 at Millenium Hall 1 from 11.30 AM – 1.45 PM
